Part One: History of Clarendon Typeface

Clarendon was designed in the 1800's in England and is thought to be the first registered typeface. The original was done in 1845 by Robert BesleyIt but was later revised by Hermann Eidenbenz under the direction of Edouard Hoffmann. I have strated to look into who Hermann Eidenbenz. So far I know that he is Swiss and he lived between 1902 and 1993. For more info see link.
